In light of the fact that some folk may be just a little behind in Journal Assignments (those being the written, hard-copy versions of your responses), there is an option to gain an additional point (+1pt) for that aspect of your grade.
(n.b.: whilst this will be submitted here, it will count as a Journal point, and not one of the blog response points; this is important as Journal Assignments are worth 1pt, and blog responses are worth 0.7pts each).
To get this additional journal point, you are being asked to compose 250-words on which of the anime series, and which of the readings you liked most, with a rationale for your choice. You will need to pick one of each. And when you justify your decision, don't just say, "because it was interesting" (what does that even mean???).
You can also write more than 250 words, if you feel so compelled. Don't feel the need to write a dissertation on it, but it would be helpful for me to know (if and when I ever teach this course again) which things were most helpful and engaging for you guys.
